At 12:17 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 700 block of Rampart St in reference to possible harassment. Information was received.
At 4:20 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a possible assault. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.
At 5:37 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
At 10:49 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.
At 11:15 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 2800 block of Hwy 71 in reference to loud music. The music was not located.

At 11:05 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a possible scam. Information was received.
At 11:05 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1200 block of Back St in reference to a possible scam. Information was received.
MARCH 2, 2026
At 6:20 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located and was removed from the property.
At 8:39 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the intersection of Hwy 71 and Bonham St in reference to a 911 hang-up. The officer arrived and learned no emergency services were needed.
At 6:54 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 800 block of Walnut in reference to a suspicious vehicle. After further investigation, James Ripperger was arrested for warrants out of Austin County and was transported to the Colorado County Detention Center.
MARCH 3, 2026
At 8:28 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 300 block of Milam in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located and removed from the property.
At 10:48 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1100 block of Milam St in reference to an escort.
At 12:17 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 500 block of Washington St in reference to an unwanted person. After further investigation, Jeffrey Leissner of Houston was arrested for disorderly conduct and was transported to the Colorado County Detention Center.
At 7:20 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 100 block of Burford St in reference to a reckless driver. The vehicle was not located.
MARCH 4, 2026
At 9:00 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 100 block of S River in reference to a 911 hang-up. The officer arrived and learned it was accidental.
At 9:50 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2100 block of Milam St in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
At 9:01 am Sgt. Neumann conducted a traffic stop on the 1900 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a traffic violation. After further investigation, Diana Reyes of Houston was arrested for theft of a firearm, resisting arrest, search or transport, unlawfully carrying a weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia, and was transported to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 1:35 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the intersection of Dewees and Travis St in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
At 8:29 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 1400 block of Montezuma St in reference to a 911 hangup. The officer arrived and learned no emergency services were needed.

At 2:39 am Ofc. Haman responded to the 1200 block of Montezuma St in reference to a 911 hangup. The officer arrived and learned it was accidental.
At 8:10 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1500 block of Prairie St in reference to a 911 hang-up. The officer arrived and learned it was accidental.
At 4:36 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1000 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
At 6:34 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 1400 block of Walnut St in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
At 7:11 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 2200 block of Walnut St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.
At 10:54 pm Sgt. Neumann conducted a traffic stop on the 1500 block of Fannin St in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, Aaron Pineda of Columbus was arrested for Public Intoxication and was transported to the Colorado County Detention Center.
At 11:40 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 2400 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located and removed from the property.

At 10:58 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2100 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.
At 1:25 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 900 block of Preston St in reference to an escort.
At 5:33 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located, and all was found to be in order.
At 8:24 pm Ofc. Haman conducted a traffic stop on the 1600 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle violation. After further investigation, Laura Jonas of Del Valle was arrested for driving while license invalid with previous conviction and was transported to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 5:28 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1600 block of Milam St in reference to a reckless driver. The vehicle was gone upon arrival.

At 6:44 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 100 block of Jane Dr in reference to a vehicle complaint. The vehicle was located and all was found to be in order.
At 11:38 pm Ofc. Pospisil conducted a traffic stop on the 500 block of Walnut St in reference to a traffic violation. After further investigation, Stacy Harris Jr of Houston was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and was transported to the Colorado County Detention Center.
