COLUMBUS — Columbus Cardinals fans, family and supporters cheered as 10 senior athletes signed agreements to play sports at their future colleges with their parents cheering them on at Columbus High School.

Columbus Lady Card Caylie Neisner (center) signed to play volleyball at Blinn College May 11 at Columbus High School. Parents Troy and Shana Neisner joined her.

Columbus Lady Card Kaylea Foster (center) signed to play softball at Henderson State University May 11 at Columbus High School. She was joined by her parents Carie and Jake Foster.

Columbus High School was the setting May 11 as Columbus Cardinal Wyatt Tipton (center) signed to play baseball at Galveston College. Parents Julie and Klent Tipton joined him.

Columbus Cardinal Brody Vinklarek (center) signed to play football at Navarro College May 11 at Columbus High School. Parents Penny and Brent Vinklarek attended to cheer him on.

On May 11 at Columbus High School, Columbus Lady Card Aggie Rodriguez (center) signed to play softball at Bryant and Stratton College. Parents Jarrod and Elizabeth Rodriguez looked on at the event.

Beaming parents Karina and Mario Rubio were on hand when Columbus Cardinal Mario Rubio (center) signed to play soccer at Our Lady of the Lake University May 11 at Columbus High School.

Columbus Cardinal Brody Tribe (center) signed to play baseball at Navarro College May 11 at Columbus High School. He was joined by Stephanie and Philip Tribe, who are his parents.

Columbus Cardinal Elijah Capiro (center) signed to play rugby at St. Thomas University May 11 at Columbus High School. He was joined by his mother Christine Capiro and sister Ellie Capiro. The family said his father, Robert Capiro, was present in spirit due to military deployment.
