RAIDERS 7-ON-7 TEAM QUALIFIES FOR STATE
The Rice Consolidated Raiders 7-on-7 football team has qualified for the state tournament. They won pool A with a 2-1 record and won the tie breaker by having the most points scored. In the state qualifying game, the Raiders defeated East Bernard in the final play of the game to win 40-39 in overtime to punch their ticket to the state tournament. The state tournament will take place on June 25 and 26 in College Station.
