The Columbus Cardinals had three of their players named to the Academic All-State team for the 2026 season.
The Academic All-State team requires players to maintain a 3.5 GPA average while also being a consistent and contributing member of their team.
The three Cards that managed to accomplish this were Wyatt Tipton, Cade Nuemann and Tyler Radke. These three players led by example both on and off the field juggling extra circular activities, traveling to and from games, competing in games, doing chores around the house and punching in for any job they have outside of school.
They found a way to keep their grades up while representing the Cards perfectly on the field to earn a spot on the Academic All-State team.
