Greater Fayette Community Foundation prepares for 2026 grant cycle

Organization offers five community impact information sessions

LA GRANGE — The Greater Fayette Community Foundation (GFCF) is proud to announce the 2026 Grant Cycle is open to nonprofits in rural South Central Texas between June 1 - June 30th.

For those interested in applying for a GFCF Community Impact Grant, you can learn about eligibility, funding priorities, and the application process by joining our in-person sessions.

We will have five in-person sessions available across our service area for you to receive assistance.

These sessions are designed for nonprofits, grassroots leaders, resident-led networks, and community organizations interested in applying through one of GFCF’s three focus areas: Red Door Fund for Mental Health, Green Door Fund for Workforce Development & Education, and Rural Community Health Fund.

The Green Door Fund for Workforce Development and Education The Green Door Fund for Workforce Development and Education invests in local talent, workforce, job training, and economic opportunity across rural South Central Texas.

The Red Door Fund for Mental Health The Red Door Fund for Mental Health increases access to mental health resources, fostering understanding, and reducing stigma, the fund empowers individuals and families to navigate their mental health journey with dignity and hope.

The Rural Community Health Fund: The Rural Community Health Fund is advancing health and wellbeing across rural South Central Texas by addressing the social drivers of health, including housing, food access, transportation, and community connection.

Nonprofit organizations with an annual budget of less than $500,000 are encouraged to apply. Some organizations may be eligible for an exception.
