MARCH 28
At 3:48 am Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1100 block of Walnut St in reference to a 911 hang-up. The officer arrived and learned it was accidental.
At 3:30 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1600 block of Milam St in reference to a reckless driver. The vehicle was not located.
At 4:14 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1300 block of Rampart St in reference to possible harassment. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.
At 6:56 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1600 block of Milam St in reference to a reckless driver. The vehicle was not located.
At 8:21 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 2100 block of Milam St in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located, and all was found to be in order.
At 11:19 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 1100 block of Walnut St in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, Bobby Torres of Columbus was arrested for Public Intoxication and was transported to the Colorado County Detention Center.
MARCH 29
At 12:25 am Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1000 block of New World Dr in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, Raul Miramontes was arrested for Public Intoxication and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.
At 12:10 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1600 block of Milam St in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located and all was found to be in order.
At 1:35 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2400 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located and removed from the property.
At 8:25 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 100 block of Burford St in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was located and removed from the property.
At 11:45 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 100 block of River Dr in reference to a 911 hang-up. The officer arrived and learned no emergency services were needed.
MARCH 30
At 9:25 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1200 block of Montezuma St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.
At 9:55 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 800 block of Walnut in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.
At 12:50 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to counterfeit checks. Information was received.
At 1:30 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 900 block of Preston St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.
At 8:23 pm Ofc. Pospisil conducted a traffic stop on the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle violation. After further investigation, Telesforo Arcovendas was arrested for driving while intoxicated open alcoholic container and was transported to the Colorado County Detention Center.
At 9:28 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.
MARCH 31
At 11:05 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1500 block of Montezuma St in reference to an escort.
At 3:07 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1000 block of Martin Luther King St in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
At 3:35 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1600 block of Rampart St in reference to a possible scam. Information was received.
At 3:46 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the intersection of Walnut and Rampart St in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
APRIL 1
At 12:27 am Ofc. Hernandez conducted a traffic stop on the intersection of Walnut and Fannin St in reference to a vehicle violation. After further investigation, Tameka Mitchell was arrested for violation of a protective order and was transported to the Colorado County Detention Center.
At 11:37 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 900 block of Jackson St in reference to a wanted person. After further investigation, Llona Chovanetz was arrested for warrants out of Fayette County and was transported to the Colorado County Detention Center.
APRIL 2
At 6:53 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 900 block of Martin Luther King St in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
At 1:43 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1400 block of Montezuma St in reference to a 911 hang-up. The officer arrived and learned it was accidental.
At 1:56 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 100 block of Radio Lane in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was not located.
At 3:53 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1000 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
At 6:16 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, the subject was located, separated, and removed from the property.
At 10:47 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1800 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.
APRIL 3
At 2:51 am Ofc. Avalos conducted a traffic stop on the 1800 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a traffic violation. After further investigation, Destin Smith-Shields was arrested for unlawful carrying a weapon and was transported to the Colorado County Detention Center.
At 1:06 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1800 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a 911 hang-up. The officer arrived and learned it was accidental.
At 1:33 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2400 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
