Three young Columbus entrepreneurs are spending part of their summer serving sno-cones and cold drinks to help neighbors beat the heat.

Nathaniel Mendez, 9, Hezekiah Emmons, 14, and Mason Evans, 13, recently opened a sno-cone stand at 816 Martin Luther King Drive near MidTown Park.

The young businessmen said they plan to serve customers daily from about noon until 8 p.m. and are hoping the community will stop by to support their venture.

With summer temperatures on the rise, the trio is ready to help keep Columbus cool one sno-cone at a time.
