Living Hope Church in Eagle Lake hosted their 33rd annual Vacation Bible School recently. Over 150 people attended, helped and dropped in as guests throughout the weeklong event. Children enjoyed music, crafts, Bible stories, devotions games and refreshments. During the week of activities, donations totaling $1,100 to missionary Brenda Lange and her orphan ministry in Mozambique, Africa. Conee Downs visited the church Tuesday to share what Lange does in Mozambique. Church representatives said in a Facebook post, “It was very impactful to hear the testimonies and see videos and pictures of the work there. We are so grateful to all of the young people who help make our Vacation Bible School a success even beyond their years of attending class.” Courtesy photo
