APRIL 25

At 1:24 am Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1800 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a 911 hang-up. The officer arrived and learned it was accidental.

At 9:55 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1200 block of Back St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 11:35 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 100 block of 5th Ave in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was not located.

At 12:22 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 200 block of Veteran Dr in reference to an escort.

At 5:03 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 100 block of Becica St in reference to a 911 hang-up. The officer arrived and learned it was accidental.

At 7:42 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1200 block of Walnut St in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 7:37 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 8:30 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 1100 block of Walnut St in reference to a possible loud music. The music was located and turned down.

At 7:30 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2200 block of Walnut St in reference to a civil mater. Advice was given.

At 11:50 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 400 block of Bonham St in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 7:48 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 500 block of Milam St in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 11:03 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 2400 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was not located.

APRIL 28

At 6:50 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 100 block of Irwin Dr in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 8:50 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 9:00 am Lt. Lara responded to the 1200 block of Prairie St in reference to criminal mischief. Information was received.

At 1:00 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to possible theft. Information was received.

At 1:53 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given. At 3:00 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2200 block of Walnut St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 7:08 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1100 block of Walnut St in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 7:52 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1800 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a possible scam. Information was received.

At 10:17 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an unwanted person. After further investigation, the subject was located, issued a criminal trespass warning, and was removed from the property.

At 11:00 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 2200 block of Walnut St in reference to a wanted person. After further investigation, Cody Moore was arrested for warrants and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

APRIL 29

At 8:50 pm Ofc. Hernandez responded to the 2400 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.

APRIL 30

At 12:20 am Ofc. Hernandez conducted a traffic stop on the 900 block of Walnut St in reference to a traffic violation. After further investigation, Deontay Carrington of Columbus was arrested for resisting arrest, search or transport and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 10:00 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1100 block of Milam St in reference to an escort.

At 5:46 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 700 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 7:16 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1700 block of Travis St in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, a subject was found to be deceased. Justice of the peace Billy Heffner arrived on scene and stated time of death and determined cause of death was natural.

MAY 1

At 7:35 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2400 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
