Dear Editor:
I appreciate the Citizen’s coverage of the Harbert’s Garage historical marker dedication. However, a few important details were omitted and deserved clarification.
First, Ronny Daley, the building’s owner, conceived and led the effort to restore the structure to its historic condition and establish a brewery. His persistence and determination were instrumental in bringing the project to fruition.
Second, the original owner’s full name was Sam Arrington Harbert; his last name was not included in the article.
Finally, it would be more accurate to state that the Kocureks and Burketts were responsible for converting the building into a brewery.
