Columbus ISD Renovations Ribbon Cutting Wednesday, June 24 | 5–7 p.m. | Columbus Elementary, 1324 Bowie St | Columbus These renovations represent a continued investment in the future of the students, staff, and community. Eagle Lake Freedom Festival Friday, July 3 | 9 a.m. – midnight | downtown Eagle Lake The festival will include 10 different events throughout Eagle Lake and the downtown square: courtesy airport shuttle service, barbecue cook-off (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.), pet parade (9 a.m.), golf scramble (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.), car show (4–7 p.m.), cornhole tournament (5–6:30 p.m.), market and sip ‘n shop (5 p.m. – midnight), live music (6:30 p.m. – midnight) and the famous fireworks show (9:15 p. m.).

Please note: Memorial Stadium will not be open for viewing. Restrooms at the Columbus Golf Course will be closed.
Taste of Columbus
Thursday, July 9 | 6 p.m. | Boys and Girls Club, 1368 Highway 71 Business | Columbus Teams consisting of three members from a local business or organization will compete for top appetizer dessert! Guests will also have the chance to bid on some great local finds in our live and silent auctions, all while enjoying live music. Tickets are $20 per adult and $10 per child 12 and under.
