COLUMBUS POLICE NEWS

MAY 2

At 6:25 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 3200 block of Columbus Loop in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located and all was found to be in order.

At 10:05 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 100 block of N. Oak in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located, issued a criminal trespass warning, and was removed from the property.

At 10:45 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1500 block of Montezuma St in reference to an escort.

At 11:50 am Ofc. Pospisil conducted a traffic stop on the 1800 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a traffic violation. After further investigation, Zachary Spradling of Kyle was arrested for driving while intoxicated, Jack Becker of Marble Falls was arrested for public intoxication and unlawful carry of a weapon, and Aidan Clements of Kyle was arrested for public intoxication. All subjects were transported to the Colorado County Detention Center.

MAY 3

At 1:00 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 2:00 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1011 block of New World Dr in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation all was found to be in order.

At 8:03 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 2100 block of Milam St in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was gone upon arrival.

At 8:38 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 1200 block of Montezuma St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 3:00 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1000 block of Robson St in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located and all was found to be in order.

MAY 4

At 1:39 am Ofc. Haman responded to the 100 block of Cardinal Lane in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 3:04 am Ofc. Haman responded to the intersection of crossroads and Hwy 71 in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, the subject was located, and all was found to be in order.

At 12:30 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1000 block of Washington St in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was not located.

At 8:17 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a reckless driver. The vehicle was located and all was found to be in order.

At 9:16 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 700 block of Crockett St in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was gone upon arrival.

MAY 5

At 6:30 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 900 block of Walnut St in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located and removed from the property.

At 12:19 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1000 block of Fannin St in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 7:49 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1000 block of Jackson St in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was not located.

At 10:33 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the 500 block of Walnut St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

MAY 7

At 12:29 am Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.

At 9:28 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1100 block of Milam St in reference to an escort. At 11:47 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1100 block of Jackson St in reference to a possible theft. Information was received, case is pending.

MAY 8

At 10:17 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to possible identity theft. Information was received.

At 11:56 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 696 exit in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 1:41 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 900 block of Martin Luther King St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 5:55 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 100 block of Legion Dr in reference to a reckless driver. The vehicle was not located.

MAY 9

At 8:10 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 600 block of Preston St in reference to a 911 hang-up. The officer arrived and learned it was accidental.

At 9:45 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 900 block of Walnut St in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located and removed from the property.

At 11:00 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a possible theft. Information was received.

At 5:32 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a possible scam. Information was received.

MAY 10

At 1:31 am Ofc. Haman responded to the 1500 block of Bowie St in reference to loud music. The music was located and turned down.

At 7:20 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 300 block of North St in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, Damontae Levi was arrested for public intoxication and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 4:44 am Ofc. Haman responded to the 1100 block of Milam St in reference to a possible suspicious person. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 10:45 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1700 block of Milam St in reference to an escort.

At 1:35 am Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 700 block of Dewees St in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 8:25 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2200 bock of Walnut St in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was gone upon arrival.

At 9:10 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2200 block to Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
