LA GRANGE - Colorado Valley Quilt Guild hand delivered over 43 patriotic lap sized quilts to local veterans in nursing homes as a tribute to their service, just in time for America’s 250th birthday.
Debbie Gabler, CVQG’s Committee Chair for Quilt of Valor project, wanted to do something special for veterans as America celebrates 250 years of freedom.
CVQG members came together for the Quilt of Valor workshop and compiled these commemorative quilts.
