SCHULENBURG — More than 150 children and adults participated in the Dale Kirn Summer STEAM event hosted by the Stanzel Model Aircraft Museum on June 29-30.
The free educational program, funded by the Dale Kirn Scholarship Fund, featured Mobile Ed Productions’ STEAM Museum and provided handson activities focused on science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.
Held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in Schulenburg and Weimar Elementary School, the two-day event drew 102 children and 51 adults. Participants explored interactive exhibits highlighting topics such as 3D printing, magnetism, electricity, engineering design and scientific observation.
