Weimar Independent School District announced new staff members with some filling newly added positions for the 2026-2027 school year.
Weimar Elementary School
Summer Almeida will be a paraprofessional.
Emily Kunschick will be a student teacher and a paraprofessional.
Stephanie Lopez will be a bilingual paraprofessional. She is a graduate of Lamar Consolidated High School.
Landie Sanders will be a reading intervention and dyslexia teacher.
Shelby Vacek will be a paraprofessional. She is a graduate of Weimar High School.
Karli Vickers will be a pre-K teacher.
Mark Vickers will be a fourth-grade science and social studies teacher. He is a graduate of North Greenville University and All Saints High School.
Weimar Junior High School
Carlton Tucker will work in the in-school suspension (ISS) and discipline alternative education placement (DAEP) programs. Tucker will also fulfill the role for Weimar High School.
Weimar High School
Melissa Garey will be a special education teacher. She is a graduate of the University of Houston and Katy High School.
Merina Horton will be a chemistry, anatomy and physiology teacher and coach.
Irene Juarez will be a secretary.
Abby McIver will be an art and theater arts teacher. She is a graduate of the University of Texas Dallas and Chaparral High School.
Vicki Reeves will be a paraprofessional. She is a graduate of Southwest Texas University (now Texas State University) and St. Paul Catholic School.
Kendra Tucker will be an integrated physics and chemistry (IPC) and biology teacher.
Conner Williams will be an independent studies math and physics teacher and coach.
