Annual Colorado County Back to School Bash to distribute free supplies, resources and game prizes

Columbus First United Methodist Church will host the annual Colorado County Back to School Bash with free school and hygiene supplies, educational booths and resources, games and giveaways, snacks and much more.

Everyone is invited to join in the family fun on Saturday, Aug. 15, from 10 a.m. to noon. The free event will be hosted in the church’s Family Life Center. The church is located at 419 Washington St., Columbus.

Sponsors for the Back to School Bash are Methodist Healthcare Ministries, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Communities in Schools-Southeast Harris and Brazoria County, and the Texas Department of State Health Services.
