‘Your Mom’ takes the field in West End adult softball league

COLUMBUS — Opposing teams could officially say they spent the summer playing against “Your Mom.”

The Columbus-based co-ed slow-pitch softball team, appropriately named “Your Mom,” joined the West End Slow Pitch Society’s 21-and-over summer league this season.

The team competed in four regular-season games before wrapping up its inaugural season at the league tournament Aug. 2 at West End Park in Industry.

Team members paid league fees to participate, but they said the friendships, laughs and memories made throughout the season were well worth it.

The team’s custom jerseys were designed by Columbus resident and Small Town Preps owner Cody Brune.
