Columbus ISD is asking local businesses and community members to help welcome new teachers and staff by donating items for employee welcome bags before the start of the school year.
The district is accepting donations through July 31 for welcome gifts that will be distributed to new employees as they join the Cardinal family.
Suggested donations include gift cards, coffee and snacks, tumblers or drinkware, office supplies, wellness or self-care items, and promotional items from local businesses.
Donat ions may be dropped off at the Columbus ISD Administration Office. District officials also are available to arrange pickup of donated items.
Businesses and individuals who contribute will be recognized in new employee welcome materials and on the district’s social media platforms.
