COLUMBUS — Colorado County Commissioners approved moving forward with plans to renovate the county’s Office of Emergency Management building.
During its July 27 meeting, Commissioners Court authorized preparation of bid documents for renovations to the OEM building, which will house the county’s Office of Emergency Management.
The office currently operates from the Sheriff’s Office on Radio Lane. County officials said the renovation will provide Emergency Management with its own dedicated workspace.
According to County Judge Ty Prause, sealed bids will be accepted until 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27 before being publicly opened in Room 101 of the Colorado County Courthouse.
