The Columbus Lady Cardinals went back to work on Saturday, Aug. 1, with their first practice of the year.
The practice was not too intense as the Lady Cards Head Coach; Kayley Johns and her coaching staff were evaluating their players. They have not set their rosters for varsity or junior varsity, so the coaching staff is using this time to evaluate what they have and see who fits where before the season starts. The Lady Cards will have another full week of practice and then will travel to Foster High School to participate in a couple of scrimmages to get back into game shape.
