EAGLE LAKE — Eagle Lake Primary School teachers received an unexpected back-to-school surprise when former student Ryan Trahan and his candy company, Joyride, purchased classroom supplies by clearing every teacher’s online wish list.
Teacher Cherrie Mc-Cain, who taught Trahan in second grade, said she has watched his cheerful personal ity and generosity remain unchanged over the years. She praised Trahan for giving back to the community where he attended elementary school, calling the gesture a blessing for teachers preparing for the new school year. McCain said educators across the country hope for someone to help fulfill classroom wish lists, making the surprise especially meaningful for Eagle Lake Primary staff.
