The Colorado County Sheriff’s Office hosted ALERRT Advanced Active Attack Integrated Response training at Columbus Junior High School last week for deputies and other local agencies. The multi-day training covered various real istic scenarios designed to strengthen coordination, communication and response during active attack incidents.
Par t icipat ing agencies included the Texas Department of Publ ic Safety, Texas Park and Wildlife game wardens, Columbus Police Department, Colorado County EMS, and Columbus Volunteer Fire Department.
