Ladycats volleyball back on the prowl

The Weimar Ladycats volleyball team was back on the court at Rice Consolidated High School for scrimmages on Friday, Aug. 7.

The scrimmages were all 30 minutes long with a running clock and gave coaches an opportunity to evaluate their teams. The Ladycats played hard and their new Head Coach, Sabrina Ferguson, said she liked how they played as a team.

“I think we are playing for each other, and the girls are really excited to be here,” Ferguson said. “I like that we are increasing our tempo and we are all on the same page and it’s really nice.”
