Houston-Galveston Area Council featured clips exploring Colorado County and southeastern Texas for its short film for the Lights, Camera, Action Film Conference.
The classic Stafford Opera House of Columbus makes an appearance in the first chapter of the video titled Timeliness History (timestamps 1:35 and 1:49).
The short film journeyed through frontier settlements, charming small towns, beautiful landscapes and more in Colorado County and these other counties: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Matagorda, Montgomery, Walker, Waller and Wharton.
The other chapters in the 12-minute video are titled Americana, The Great Outdoors, Suspense and Mystery, Water and Reflection, and Modern Worlds.
