The Alleyton Cemetery Board of Directors dedicated new flags in a ceremony with local historical organizations, Saturday, Aug. 1.
In attendance were representatives from the John Everett Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Robert Rankin Chapter of Sons of the American Revolution, Vietnam Veterans of America Columbus Chapter 1127 and other friends.
The dedication included a welcome by president Theresa Williams, prayers by Decon Fitzgerald, meaning of the flags by Lt. Col. Carter and remarks from David Zachmeyer.
