Weimar ISD sends $15 million bond package to voters

WEIMAR — The Weimar ISD Board of Trustees approved placing two bond propositions totaling $15 million before voters to fund renovations and improvements throughout the district.

The board approved to place propositions A and B on the November ballot during its Monday, Aug. 10, meeting. The district began evaluating its facilities in 2024 and identified several buildings and areas in need of repairs or upgrades.

Roofing and HVAC work initially expected to be included in the bond could not be delayed and has since been completed, leaving approximately $15 million in proposed projects.
