CHS Health Science Pathway enters second year

COLUMBUS — Columbus High School is entering the second year of its Health Science Pathway, offering students interested in medical careers an opportunity to develop skills and gain hands-on experience before graduation.

Students in the program learn medical terminology and health care ski l ls whi le exploring career opportunities in the medical field. Seniors participating in the pathway also have an opportunity to earn Patient Care Technician certification, allowing them to graduate with an industry- recognized credential.

The program is part of the career and technical education opportunities available to CHS students.
