Pool noodles became the weapon of choice Saturday, Aug. 15, as Eagle Lake residents gathered at locations around town for the community’s first Pool Noodle Purge. The Camp Good Ground event invited the young and young at heart to enjoy some end-of-summer fun, including Messiah Moreno, 3, Amauri Ward, 10, Paula Richardson and Paula Gutierrez, who joined the action at Veterans Memorial Park.
