CHPT auction donation brings community groups together

COLUMBUS — A luncheon donated to the Columbus Historical Preservation Trust’s spring auction recently brought members of two community organizations together at The Carriage Step.

Amber Leigh Becerra donated the tea and luncheon experience to the CHPT auction and later prepared the meal and table setting for the winning bidders.

The experience was purchased by the Colorado County Habitat for Humanity Events Committee, giving members an opportunity to gather for the luncheon and celebrate a birthday.

CHPT thanked Becerra and the Habitat for Humanity committee for supporting the organization and highlighted the gathering as an example of local organizations and community members supporting one another.
