New book club launching in Eagle Lake

EAGLE LAKE — A new community book club is coming to Eagle Lake, with organizers seeking input from residents ahead of its first meeting in September.

The Pagewalkers Book Club is designed to bring residents together through reading while strengthening community connections with the Eula and David Wintermann Library.

The club’s kickoff will be held on a Saturday in September at the library, with residents being asked to help select the date. During the event, participants can sign up for library cards, order the club’s first selection, A Deadly Inside Scoop, provide T-shirt sizes for club shirts and meet other members.

Organizer Jeremiah Paige said the club is intended to provide a welcoming space for readers of all ages and backgrounds.

Residents interested in participating are encouraged to share which Saturday in September works best for the inaugural meeting.
