A new chapter unveiled at Southern Comfort Furniture & Mattress
COLUMBUS – A new chapter is beginning for a longt ime Columbus business. The Columbus Chamber of Commerce invites the community to join us on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrating Southern Comfort Furniture & Mattress, located at 905 Walnut Street in Columbus.
Southern Comfort Furniture & Mattress has been a local ly owned, family-operated business serving Columbus and the surrounding communities since 1985. Today, owner Haley Stork is carrying on the legacy of her late mother and former owner, Cindy Kovar, continuing the family business and the tradition of friendly, personalized service that customers have come to know over the years. The store offers quality furniture and mattresses for every room of the home, with options for a variety of styles and budgets.
We are honored to celebrate Haley as she carries her mother’s legacy forward and begins this new chapter for Southern Comfort Furniture & Mattress. We invite the community to join us for the ribbon cutting on Sept. 3 and help us celebrate this special milestone.
