$100K GRANT FOR VETERANS
The Texas Veterans Commission presented Colorado County Habitat for Humanity with a $100,000 grant to provide veterans and surviving spouses with critical home repairs. The local nonprofit said the funding will allow them to “focus on serving those who have served our country while freeing up other repair funds to help the 18 families currently on our waitlist — and counting.” Courtesy photo
