The Columbus Cardinals cross-country team competed in the Navasota cross country meet on Wednesday, Sept. 9 in Navasota. The Cards ran hard and had three runners finish within the top 10. Christian Martinez took home a gold medal coming in first place in the boys’ varsity race. His teammate Zeyon Ramirez came in fifth place. Then in the girls’ varsity race Lexi Kulhanek came in seventh place to cap off a strong performance by the Columbus cross country team. Courtesy photo
