Senior Connections experienced an “explosion of art” at the opening reception for this year’s Ageless Artistry Showcase last weekend at Jack’s Gallery.
Program Director Stephanie Shroyer shared photos of visitors perusing the gallery that accepted pieces from over 40 participants, including members of staff, volunteers, instructors for Artful Friday classes and class participants. Senior Connections previously announced the number of participants had doubled this year.
A post from staff on Facebook said the number of participants doubled from the previous year for the exhibit on display now through Nov. 28 at Jack’s Gallery, 1203 Kessler Ave., Schulenburg.
An online auction for the art pieces will fundraise for the remodeling the Galipps Grocery Store in downtown Schulenburg into the home base for Senior Connections.
