The Alleyton Cemetery Association, Inc. is pleased to announce that Webber, LLC has installed a road inside the historic Alleyton Cemetery.
The cemetery’s first known burial dates back to 1852, and the cemetery was designated a Historic Texas Cemetery in October 2009. For many years, access inside the cemetery could be difficult after periods of rain. The newly installed road will make it easier and safer for families, visitors, funeral processions, and those caring for the cemetery to reach burial sites.
The Alleyton Cemetery Association is deeply grateful to Webber for its generosity and assistance with this important improvement.
“This road means so much to us,” said Theresa Williams, President of the Alleyton Cemetery Association. “After so many years, we are thankful to finally have better access throughout the cemetery, especially during wet weather. We sincerely appreciate Webber and the workers who helped make this possible.”
The Alleyton Cemetery Association remains committed to preserving, maintaining, and honoring this historic burial ground for present and future generations.
