Weimar Police Department announced the six student winners of their Holiday Card Art Contest, granting them an opportunity to pie an officer in the piece during National Night Out.
The contest welcomed students in second through fourth grade to color in a coloring sheet depicting a Weimar PD vehicle in front of city hall. Students in sixth through eighth grade created unique designs. The designs were then voted on by members of the community to later be placed on the department’s Christmas cards this year.
The second-grade winner—and the one with the most votes overall— is Evlynn U. with 177 votes. The third-grade winner is Magnus G. with 88 votes. The fourth-grade winner is Kate S. with 79 votes. The sixth-grade winner is Emma S. with 152 votes. The seventh-grade winner is Raegan U. with 104 votes. Finally, the eighth-grade winner is Kaleb B. with 58 votes.
