The Stanzel Fami ly Foundation (SFF) is now accepting applications for the Joseph & Victor Stanzel Memorial Scholarship for professionals.
This scholarship is designed to support individuals seeking to further their careers through continued education. If you live within Weimar ISD or Schulenburg ISD or your work serves residents in these areas, you may be eligible to apply. While professionals in education and healthcare are strongly encouraged to apply, this opportunity is open to individuals across all fields.

By supporting professionals who choose to invest in their learning, we’re not only helping individuals grow, we’re strengthening the future of our entire community. The Foundation was established in 1989, by Joseph and Victor Stanzel, co-founders and owners of Victor Stanzel Co., a model aircraft toy manufacturing company located in Schulenburg. Their seventy years of entrepreneurial endeavors affirm the importance of hard work, dedication, honesty, integrity, and focused vision. The first scholarships were awarded in 1991. Since that year, the Foundation has awarded over 600 scholarships locally.
