The Columbus Texas Lions Club hosted its Annual Bi ll and Bub Charity Gol f Tournament last weekend with “huge success.” Club members prepared burgers while dozens of players swung golf clubs at the Columbus Municipal Golf Course. The club sold out of 500 ball drop tickets, and the winner of the $2,000 prize was Kent Rees. All proceeds from sponsorships, registration fees and more will support local Columbus Lions projects.
