Weimar Volunteer Fire Department fundraiser reaches 50-year milestone

The Weimar Volunteer Fire Department hosted its 50th Annual Fireman’s Turkey Dinner and auction to raise money for equipment and firefighting needs, Sunday, Oct. 25, at Weimar Veteran’s Memorial Hall.

The department also auctioned off a memorial in honor of past Chief Walter Lee Kram, who had the original idea for the turkey dinner fundraiser five decades ago.
