Forty-five volunteers packed approximately 10,000 meals Oct. 17 to arrive at schools in Honduras in three weeks as part of a service project for Rise Against Hunger. Participating organizations included Rotary Club of Columbus, Columbus Lions Club, Columbus Christian Women’s Organization, five other southeastern Texas Rotary clubs, Columbus High School students and alumni, Sealy High School students and volunteers from St. John’s Lutheran Church New Ulm.
