CVQG tries Guild’s Quilt of Valor Project

Twenty-two members from the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild attempted something new with the Guild’s Quilt of Valor Project. Scraps of patriotic material were cut into various lengths and widths, and each Member was asked to make 8 1/2” or 9 1/2” blocks using a Log Cabin design.

Debbi Gabler and Jo Anne Hill guided the group through the steps and a beautiful QOV quilt was pieced together.

The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Randolph Recreation Center, 653 East Pearl Street, Room A East, LaGrange, TX 78945.

Guild meetings begin at 6 p.m. on even months and 10 a.m. on odd months.

Meetings are always open to the public, so grab a friend and come learn more about this La Grange based service organization. Visit www.coloradovalleyqg.com for more information or contact [email protected].
