LA GRANGE — The Fayette Community Foundation administered a $40,000 designated grant on behalf of an anonymous donor to the Fayette County EMS on Wednesday, April 12.
The foundation said the grant will be used to support the newly built Station 4 in Schulenburg and enhance EMS’s mission of providing high-quality emergency medical services to the residents of Fayette County.
“Fayette County EMS usually relies on hand-me-down furniture and appliances,” said Fayette County EMS Chief Josh Vandever. “These funds being made available are going to provide for the comfort and morale of our EMS workers as they work their extended shifts.”
