Nesbitt Memorial Library invites families to a special Pajama Storytime on Friday, Feb. 9 at 5 p.m. with newly published author Lindsay Neath Hall featuring Ralph the Garden Gnome as well as an appearance by Jordan E. Fayette who created the art for the book.

“From being broken to feeling whole — a garden gnome shows us that even if we feel like we are broken, we truly might have all we need,” according to Trilogy Christian Publishing, “Ralph is a garden gnome who lives on a lively farm with a lively family. In his experience, he has come to love the farm and all that it brings. His only wish is that his hat wasn’t broken. Through meeting a new gnome who comes to the farm with a perfect hat, he finds that his broken hat — and everything that came along with it isn’t so bad after all.”

Lindsay is a mom who homeschools her four children. She received her master’s degree in education from Texas State University in special education, and she uses it by volunteering at her church in the special-needs ministry.

She lives on Wild Child Farm with many animals including four dogs, four cats, a brood of chickens, and two turkeys. She enjoys gardening, bird watching, working out, watching baseball and reading her Bible. She is a Columbus High School graduate.

Fayette has loved art since she was able to hold a crayon. When she isn’t painting, she can be found singing in her local church’s praise and worship team, entertaining family and friends or tucked away with a good book. She lives a peaceful life in Columbus with her two dogs.

Copies of their book will be available for purchase. Hall and Fayette will be on hand after Storytime to autograph copies.
