Register now for fair parade

COLUMBUS — The call is going out for entries in the 45th annual Colorado County Fair Parade on Sept. 16.

The theme for this year’s fair and parade is “Neon Lights and County Nights!”

Parade entries should be decorated in red, white and blue. Judging starts as the entrants line up, and the parade itself launches at 10 a.m.

Categories for judging are antique vehicle, float, equestrian, commercial, service organization, educational and marching/ twirling.

No four-wheelers or gocarts will be allowed due to insurance purposes.

Deadline to enter is Sept. 13.
