Weimar Ladycats now 6-1 in district

On Tuesday night the Weimar Ladycats traveled to Brazos for a Varsity match up only, first pitch is to be thrown at 6:00 pm. With a final score of 18-0, the Lady-cats are now 6-1 in district. On Friday night the Ladycats hosted Fayetteville with only one game to be played. First pitch was thrown at 5:00 pm. On the mound for the Ladycats was Sophomore Emily Elstner, she pitched a great game. This Lady-cats team is consisted of a young bunch with only one senior, two juniors, six sophomores and five freshmen, but each one of these young ladies has the love for the game. The Ladycats had a few awesome defensive plays during this match up, and as for their offense batting that was outstanding. The Ladycats read the ball well and put it in place to where they needed so that their teammates could score. The Lady-cats were exceeding as well as exploding at the plate. There was literally nothing stopping the Ladycats from dominating the field Friday night. The Ladycats get the win over Fayetteville 13-0, with this win the Ladycats are now 7-1 in district. The Ladycats will be hosting the Louise Lady Hornets on Tuesday varsity only, game is to begin at 6:00 pm. The Ladycats will be escorting their parents onto the field for parent’s night. The Ladycats then will travel on Friday night to Flatonia.
