Rice CISD serves student meals

Rice ÇISD began serving meals to their students Monday, Mar. 23. Food distribution is available for children ages 0 -18 from 10 a.m. - noon Monday through Friday. 

Pickup points are:

Eagle Lake Intermediate School

Garwood School

Sheridan School

Individuals must be present to receive a meal. 

Both breakfast and lunch will be provided in a single pick up daily. 

Rice CISD employees will hand out meals outside the building to those of qualifying ages. There is no admittance into the school.

Cheryl McDonald Cafeteria Supervisor with Rice CISD said, “Today was our first day to hand out meals to kids from 0-18 years of age. We did an awesome job at Garwood Elementary School, where we handed out 118 meals.  Please bring your kids to one of the locations. The locations are Sheridan Elementary School, Garwood Elementary School, and Eagle Lake Intermediate. I enjoyed handing out these meals and seeing the kids.”
