LIBRARY SETS RUMMAGE SALE IN SHERIDAN
SHERIDAN — Sheridan Memorial Library will conduct its annual rummage sale April 4-6 at the Sheridan Community Center in Sheridan.
The sale begins Thursday, April 5, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. The sale will be open the same hours for Friday, April
5. Saturday, April 6, the sale will be conducted from 8 a.m. until noon.
The deadline to donate items is Wednesday, April 3. All donations must be delivered.
FRIDAY FISH FRIES SET IN NADA
NADA—The Knights of Columbus of Nada have announced the schedule for their Friday Lenten fish fry events.
The events will occur every Friday concluding April 19.
The events will be conducted at the Nada Community Center. The event is an all-you-can-eat dinner with catfish, fries, slaw, and trimmings.
Homemade desserts will be sold by Nada Catholic Daughters.
Adult tickets are $13, children 6-11 are $6, and children six and under are free. Plates to go will be sold for $10.
RAMIRO HERNANDEZ JR SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER SET
GARWOOD—The Ramiro Hernandez Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund has set its second annual Ramiro Hernandez Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser for Saturday, Aprii 13, at the Garwood Volunteer Department in Garwood.
A hamburger combo including chips and a drink are available for $10. A silent auction and bake sale will also be part of the event.
The event begins at 11 a.m. and continues until 4 p.m.
All proceeds benefit the scholarship fund, which supports furthering the education of Rice Consolidated High School seniors. Hernandez, who passed away in 2017, was an alumni of Rice Consolidated.

LENTEN LUNCHEONS AT FUMC EAGLE LAKE UNDERWAY
EAGLE LAKE— The Eagle Lake United Methodist Church has set its 23rd annual series of Lenten Luncheons.
The Luncheons will occur each Monday beginning March 11 through April 15, from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. The event features speakers weekly. The public is invited.
CLASS OF ’69 REUNION SET
EAGLE LAKE — The 1969 class of Eagle Lake High School will conduct its 50th class reunion Saturday, April 13 beginning at 6 p.m. at Vivian’s Historic Venue in downtown Eagle Lake.
