PUPS offers free spay, neuter for some zip codes

PUPS (Preventing Unwanted Pets of Cat Spring) is offering free spay/neuter surgery for dogs and cats in Eagle Lake, Garwood, and Alleyton zip codes in recognition of World Spay Day, Feb. 26. The group will offer the services through the month of February.

Additionally, pitbull and pitbull mix dogs in Austin, Colorado, Fayette, Fort Bend, Lavaca, Waller, Washington, and Wharton counties are eligible for free spay or neuter under the program.

PUPS also invites community businesses and citizens to partner with the group by donating a percentage of their profits on World Spay Day, by hosting a fundraiser, or by agreeing to sponsor the spay or neuter of at least one animal.
