COLUMBUS – The Columbus Christian Women’s Organization will host its annual fundraiser featuring, “The Laura Hastedt Art Tiffin,” on Sept. 23 at the Live Oak Art Center, 1014 Milam St.

Tiffin is a British-Indian term for a midday meal, according to a release. CCWO said it has added art to the mix, and will have tea and a luncheon that will allow attendees to put their touch to the pictures that an artist at their table will paint based on “Monet’s Garden” theme.

After the meal, paintings are auctioned off and all money goes to the following organizations: Youth & Family Services, Local Library, Boys & Girls Club, Shop with a Cop, Live Oak Art Center summer kids programs and Habitat for Humanity.

The artists this year will be Judy Elias, Cindy Fanning, Dan Pore, Shirley Isbell, Tracey Wegenhoft, Courtney Young, Jane Meldahl, Erin Story, Tonni Connor and Svitlana Parks.

Advance ticket sales will only be available for this event. Tickets are $45 or $320 per table of 7+ an artist. There are two seatings at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. This event will have assigned seating.

Tickets will be sold by Grand Oaks Antiques, 1034 Milam St., MILAM. Contact the store at 979732-9181.

Tickets are also available by mail. Make checks out to CCWO. Those mailing checks should include their seating time, guest(s) names, phone numbers and email addresses.
