Weimar Public Library with new initiatives in February

February is the National Library Lover’s Month for the library. Show the library how much you love it just by stopping in for a visit.

For those without a library card, this would be a great time to get one at no cost.

Then check out the awesome selection of books, movies and more throughout February. Do not forget to pick up the event calendar for upcoming events.

On Tuesday, Feb. 6, the library is hosting an Arts and Craft class to decorate Valentine’s Bags at 4 p.m. If you are interested in this event, please RSVP to the library for limited supplies.

Then, on Feb. 7, the Library in Motion group will have a Tai Chi Movements class at 10 a.m.

On Thursday, Feb. 8, the library has Family Storytime reading about “Valentine’s Day”, making a Valentine’s Day craft and singing and dancing at 10 a.m., followed by Preschool Discovery Time learning the letter “T” and no. 20 at 10:30 a.m.

Bring in those little ones for a great time learning and making new friends.

On Friday, Feb. 9, the Beginner’s Crochet Class will meet with the adult group between 2 to 3:30 p.m. and youth group between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
